So it's not exactly jet packs. What it is, though, is an electric car that looks like a Lotus Elise that can drive itself and go underwater.

What's that smell? Oh yeah! THE FUTURE!

This is the trailer for the Wachowski's Speed Racer

Things I am not:

1. A purist.
2. A stickler for realism.
3. Against the abundant use of CGI.

And despite all that, I am very, very dismayed by this trailer. It is fucking ridiculous, and does not at all indicate a movie I want to watch.

Sigh.

It's...hard to believe this is real, but this is the trailer for an upcoming game called Bibleman: A Fight for Faith. It is based on a TV series of the same name starring Willie Aames, who's best known for being in Charles in Charge. The villain of this game is called Wacky Protestor. I'm not joking.

All I have to say is that this is probably the best voiceover ever. Imagine an animated world, where there is no God, or no faith. Awesomesauce

There aren't many things I am still surprised by in this world, but I have to admit, the sight of 1500 inmates of the Cebu Provisional Detention and Rehabilitation Center reenacting Michael Jackson's Thriller is a new one to me. Now that's a progressive penal system.

Obviously, this is the kind of thing that makes me damn proud to be a Filipino.

When I heard that Stallone was going to do another Rambo movie, I kind of blinked out. Stallone is 60 years old now, and while I throughly enjoyed Rocky Balboa and found Stallone to be convincingly invincible, it just didn't feel right to thing about Rambo as an old man. I mean, it's one thing to do Rocky, which has always been about an underdog. But Rambo? Could Stallone possibly do an awesome old-man Rambo?

A trailer has been released recently. You can view that here:

All I can say is, fuck, yeah.
